This book gets one star for acceptable tutorials. But, there are many problems with the book, including:-very poorly written text that is very confusing. I just use the tutorials and don't even bother reading the text.
-the index isn't in alphabetical order! How can you have an index not in alphabetical order? it has letter sections, but with in each section it's just random. An editor really should have fixed this.
-the index is woefully wanting. Every function or feature should have an entry in the index. Really, if it's bolded in the text, it should be indexed.
-no chapter 16! It's in the Table of Context, topic in the index refer to it, but the book itself ends at Ch. 15.
Overall, the book feels half-a**ed and like an editor never even looked at it. I question AutoDesk's authorization process if this an approved text for their product. And teachers definitely need to review this text personally before requiring it for classes.

Its a great learning tool
The content is not difficult to understand as my expected, quite easy to follow book's operation to learn. For person who never use the Revit is also suitable to get it to start learning.
This book seems fine but I did notice something odd. In the table of contents, there is a chapter 16 but that chapter does not exist in the actual book. I guess that I won't be able to complete my homework for Revit class...
